I've been banking with BB&T for almost a year now. I opened an account with them when I started my new job, Ms. Mary King helped open my account up and she was awesome. The nicest lady and she did her job very well. But I don't deal with her on a weekly basis. It's the TELLERS who are SO rude one is named JACKIE and the other lady is named BECKY. I am your banks valued customer you shouldn't have an attitude with me just because you hate your job. Every time I go in to make a deposit or to get change they act like its a problem. I might not have the largest amount of money in my account but that shouldn't change your perception of me I am still your customer! I don't know if Veronica has left or was transferred but she was always pleasant and never caught an attitude or was rude anytime I came into the bank but for the other two ladies BB&T needs to do some New Years cleaning because if this keeps up I will take my business else where! And TRUST me when I say I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND the lake rim branch on Good Middling Dr. To any of my customers and peers. The lack of customer service that Jackie and Becky have really makes that branch a burden to deal with. I would rather drive out of my way to the Westwood branch than deal with the arrogance and rude attitude of those two tellers!
This bank is horrible. Today will be my last day using this bank. I made a $20 cash deposit on Tuesday. They held my CASH deposit until Wednesday night and then ran a check for $10 check Wednesday night before posting my deposit. Which of course caused a NFS fee of $36. When I called the customer service line and got Amy she said and I quote: "Too bad. That is our policy and I can't help you."
I recently switched from td bank to bb&t bank because i moved and the bb&t branch was closer to my house. Well that was the worst decision i ever made!! I have no idea where they got their slogan of "24 hour banking" from because there not even open on the weekends and their phone customer service is only available during certain hours not 24/7!! So ridiculous and everytime i do call their customer service i wait 20 minutes minimum for a representative to answer the phone. I have also never had a bank hold so much of my deposited check before when i deposit a check they don't even make 1/3 of my check available to me i have to wait 3 business days to get the full amount! When signing up with bb&t i also didn't receive any temporary checks that day or even information about ordering checks. Such a let-down!! Will be switching back to td bank tomorrow morning. So nice they are open on a sunday. Now thats a real convent bank with real quality customer service!
