Requested a distribution from a money market account. Failed to mail the check the first time. The second time, they said they mailed it and it never got to me. Then I requested a stop payment and they refused to do it. it took 7 business days and 3 phone calls. Then I was told I needed to complete and indemnification form. They said they mailed it. It never got to me. They said they mailed it a second time. It never got to me. something that should've taken 10 business days max, has gone on for 2 months. Everytime I called, I had to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes. Customer service reps were rude and unhelpful. Bank never returns phone calls. I have filed complaints with BBB, the attorney general, and the consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Also, transfered the remaining balance to another bank. My advice to customers- Opt out of the manadatory arbitration clause, File a complaint with the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, file a complaint with the BBB, and contact the Attorney General. Their activities are in violation of numerous regulations and they need to be held accountable.
For months I have been complaining to numerous people at the bank about bill pay limitations. Everybody is polite, agrees but nobody fixes it. I want to use online bill pay to pay a person who also has a BMO Harris account. Guess what .... the bank can only print and mail a check. I've even had the check sent to a Harris branch office for deposit and again they mail it to themselves! What century is this.
Furthermore, regardless if the check is mailed to the branch or to another address it NEVER has arrived on the due date (the date that I was given to me by bill pay). The funds should be shifted between accounts within 24 hours, not 6 days.
how do I begin, I was deny a modification on my equity line of credit. It has been close to 2 years in the working. They finally deny me on Jan 2014. I was first deny in 2012.I went thru the affordable act hud housing counselors. BMO bank deny me because my interest was loan at that time. So I tried again in 2013 .I sent again all my paper work. Given another person to do my modification because the first person said to me that I would never get a modification. I reported her to the chairman of the board in Toronto Canada. He assign a new person to help me. Well guest after all this,after having people investigate my pass. They came up with that my credit report looks good. Now they have reported me to Transunion as being a charge-off with the intent of ruining my credit. I apply because I lost a 50,000 job, now only making 22,000. Please I need help! or I will loose my home of 13 yrs.
