BoA continually offers rip off fees ($35 for $ overdraft or 1 day late payments). Their customer service is terrible. They won't change until billions in accounts are moved to smaller regional banks offering superior service and competitive rates.
After waiting in line 20 minutes, I was finally called over to the counter to make a deposit. The teller's name is Melissa and she was extremely rude. When I handed the deposit to her she pushed it back at me and told me to sort the money. I was confused and shocked! I said " isn't that your job?" She said no and proceeded to fold her arms and stare me down, waiting for me to sort the money. I refused so she said she couldn't help me and moved on to the next customer.
I am not one to complain and I typically try to avoid all confrontation. I have only had pleasant experiences at this bank in the past. I have never been told to sort out the money or had anyone ever flat out refuse to help me. As I understand it is not the banks policy to require customers to sort their own deposits. Maybe she was having a bad day but that is no way to treat people
