Some of boa chat support representatives are intentionally rude and impolite. When i asked them when would my e-statement be generated for this month, which i need for a mortgage loan, they kept me waiting and transferring chat to different people. And one with name kevin took 15 mins to respond and asked me a question which i don't remember.
He asked me address of the banking center where i opened this account. He made it clear complete address. How would i remember the bank address where i opened the account with zip code? It's been 5 years since i moved to different places. When i insisted to ask a different question. He was rude and told me "privacy and security concerns" he cannot tell the details.
I will be closing my account as soon as i pay off my credit card. I have several cards with direct payments and as we all know that do to the economy i only work two days a week! My intension is to pay but how can anyone survive with two days?! And than be charged late fees? I called to be refunded cash that i don't have and wasn't helped. Instead i was offered other options that charged a fee.
What point of not being able to afford the late fee didn't they get? How am i being helped! Very disappointed! I will be sure to make a point that bank america doesn't help those who are struggling. I called with a problem and there was no solution after i got off the phone wih the representative and manager. They told me since it wasn't the banks error i couldn't be refunded.. I didn't say it was the banks error. I just did have cash in hand until two days later!
I am refinancing my mortgage for a lower rate. I went into this branch asking for help and all i was told was that they no longer had a loan officer so i sat in the lobby filling out paper work and all i wanted was for someone to go over it so i didn't make any mistakes. No one would help me and as it turned out some of the paper work did not fax properly and i had to go back and sign additional forms.
I have been with b of a for 14 yrs. And i find this service worse than sad. If i had not gone this far with the loan process i would have gone to another bank and closed out all my accounts with b of a. To have a loan officer call me at 9pm on a friday night is beyond the pale. Something has to be done to keep customers satisfied.
