Some of boa chat support representatives are intentionally rude and impolite. When i asked them when would my e-statement be generated for this month, which i need for a mortgage loan, they kept me waiting and transferring chat to different people. And one with name kevin took 15 mins to respond and asked me a question which i don't remember.
He asked me address of the banking center where i opened this account. He made it clear complete address. How would i remember the bank address where i opened the account with zip code? It's been 5 years since i moved to different places. When i insisted to ask a different question. He was rude and told me "privacy and security concerns" he cannot tell the details.
After waiting in line 20 minutes, I was finally called over to the counter to make a deposit. The teller's name is Melissa and she was extremely rude. When I handed the deposit to her she pushed it back at me and told me to sort the money. I was confused and shocked! I said " isn't that your job?" She said no and proceeded to fold her arms and stare me down, waiting for me to sort the money. I refused so she said she couldn't help me and moved on to the next customer.
I am not one to complain and I typically try to avoid all confrontation. I have only had pleasant experiences at this bank in the past. I have never been told to sort out the money or had anyone ever flat out refuse to help me. As I understand it is not the banks policy to require customers to sort their own deposits. Maybe she was having a bad day but that is no way to treat people
