In the years that i have had bank of america not once have they ever helped me through any situation. I am an active duty military soldier who has served this nation for six years. Due to my job i have been stationed in italy, louisiana, and hawaii. Not any of these places had a bank of america except one in italy, but other banks have atms on military installations. I have had to pay the atm fee and a separate charge for not using a bank of america atm.
Even though i am serving this nation and do not choose to live at these places, bank of america would never waive my fee. When i was deployed and couldn't be around a phone or internet, my checking would often get overdrawn, but they wouldn't auto switch the money from my savings. When i would call i often felt like they would just hang up to avoid having to deal with me. It was one of the most stressful things to have to deal with. I know none of my friends that have this bank any longer the ones like me that made the mistake and opened an account with them, hate this whole corporation.
They steal money, have no sense of compassion. They don't have anything to offer a military soldier in a time of need and they will forever be a prime example of a corperation that thinks they deserve something more and don't have to abide by simple principles of good character because they put the name of our country in their name. If you are reading this please... Please don't get this bank behind you.
While i was a student they gave me secondary account for free and later they have been charging 12 $ monthly fee and i had direct deposit setup for primary account. When i asked for refund they are saying they can't.
Who asked secondary account,they gave it for free and keep on charging since an year.
i just want to express the frustrating experience i had with bank of america, i opened my account on july and now (oct 18, 2014) still dont have my permanent card, a total of 4 times i requested the card to be re-issued since i never got it in my mail, and now, i decided to close my business with this bank since they keep saying they will re-issue again the card, that is bad service for me. Service at the branch is ok though, but this issue with the card was very frustrating and so i will stop doing business with bank of america. At the same time in july, opened another checkings account with first tech and i got my card immediately at the branch, that was super fast and very practical. Isidro hernandez
