They have always been pleasant and professional when I have dealt with them.
After using Cadence Bank for over 20 years, I am forced to look for a new bank. They have changed debit cards from Visa to Discover. Not every business accepts Discover. I was embarassed when I tried to pay a bill at a local restaurant who did the accept the Discover Card. I travel a lot to the Caribbean and a lot of businesses on the small islands don't accept either. Definately not customer friendly. When I called customer service I was told - Sorry that's who we've contracted with and I was free to move my accounts.
The branch manager makes a rubber band sound smart. The area manager gets her jolly out of firing people. The teller when i said "this is the last check i will be depositing here" 14,000. 00 - then lied and i have a witness and said i was taking all of my money out on monday - wtf after sitting in line in the drive thru all i said was this was the last check. 4 hours later the not so smart branch manager calls me and says "we are placing a hold on your check since you are closing your account on monday" i advised him so this was "punishment" and he stuttered. Then i spoke with the other person who is just mean and she said the same thing the teller said you were going to take your money out monday so we are going to place a hold on it. This is hostage. They suck. There is no service they like to fire the people there that were decent. What more is there to say it used to be a drive thru fast food place. I bet the service was better. I see the below i have to say 1 because there is no place for -100.
