Capital One Drops Online Interest Checking Account to 0.50% APY
Another hit to an online checking account, Capital One has decreased their APY on the online interest checking account to 0.50% from 0.75% APY. The first year bonus rate also dropped to from 1.00% to 0.75% APY. More »

Cap One ATMS rarely allow withdrawals. 4 out of 5 times I have been denied because of 'temporarily unable to access' without explanation.
Can ATMS have restricted withdrawal times? I bank via computer and do not do business inside the bank at anytime. If I cannot access my money via ATM then that's a problem. Am changing banks. Miss Chevy Chase banks terribly. More »

For Capital One simple savings, they are currently paying 1.55% on amounts $2500 and over. The 0.5% is on balances up to $2499. Why don't you also include the higher amount?
