I moved to a state where Commerce Bank doesn't exist and was forced to close my account. After 6 months my account is still open and I have been sent to collections and my credit score compromised over a $35 mistake that was theirs to begin with!
Because of poor communication and lack of followthrough on the part of both their customer service and collections department, I still have no resolution! Allison, the last rep I spoke with from collections told me she would call back with a resolution and never did! This will effect me for years to come and I am so frustrated because I don't know what else to do! What a nightmare!
For those of you that can only complain about commerce bank, maybe the next time you're in the neighborhood of lansing, kansas, you need to stop at the branch location located next to woody's express. Jennifer, jeff, and jessica know what the definition of customer service is!! I've been in the banking/financial services for over 39 years, seen my share of good and bad employees. But at the lansing location, you not only have very competent people to handle your financial needs, but they also have a great personality and treat you like you're their top customer. So here's to the commerce bank lansing branch - people doing it right!! Dww
They don't listen. They take money out of the wrong accounts. They don't know how to properly identify five dollar bills. Took forty dollars out of my deposit claiming they were fake. Teller couldn't see well enough to identify bills.
