Had to cancel check cards due to someone hacking into an online service that I use. Was told no problem and would receive new cards in 7 to 10 days. After not receiving them 14 days later called customer service and told cards were cancelled with no reissue. They were apologetic and was told my cards would be sent to me by FedEx and would receive them in 2 days. DID NOT COME! Called back, was told I was told incorrectly and that since they were having to pay for FedEx they send out on 3 day service. WHAT? You screw up and then tell me that if I wanted 2 day service, I would have to pay for it. All of our prescriptions are purchased online, not by choice. I have been out of 2 prescriptions for a week and my daughter is almost out on insulin. Do they care NO WAY! Sorry way to show how valued your customers are.

1st) Customer Service: I have contacted customer service several times and have always been satisfied with them. I have read reviews that 1st Tenn has bad CS but I have found there are some bad agents but most are very friendly and helpful!
2nd) Mobile Banking: They lack a little on mobile banking however they just released a new app for it. The new app is much much better! Mobile check deposit still needs work though. They have some funky rules to qualify for mobile deposit.
3rd) Branches: They have plenty of branches, at least, in the east tennessee area. All branches have great hours and a friendly staff
4th) Fees: I have an account with 0 fees and what I like about 1st Tenn is that I am able to use the branch if need be.. A lot of banks with the free checking routs don't allow you to use tellers without paying a fee. 1st Tenn does not do that!
All in all I recommend this bank to anyone. After switching from BB&T I have grown to love this bank a lot
I have been at mnt national bank now 1st tn bank bought them out, for 11 years. I have serious health issues. Which they know about and have always been a good,loyal,nice customer,i hardly ever make mistakes myself,never intentional,they know this and recently got treated so awful that i got sick. I was told different thing by associate,i questioned it ,and then [Redacted] said i even owed more which was wrong,took forever for her to admit it ,never apologized. Then i fixed misunderstanding, i deposited 1300 cash,the two woman put a hold on my debit ,because of misunderstanding and i fixed it ,i paid cash. They said i had to wait three days for my cash? I was at store getting my medicine,and shocked when out of spite she put a hold on my card,i called she wouldn't talk to me,i couldn't get my meds,i couldn't get cash out of atm. Plus i have overdraft protection,which in case of emergency i go over i am ok. I have always been careful about my account to.. This was out of spite and unethical to do all this to me. Ii had to call me dr. It was awful. Now i worry they will hold my checks or do something else they never did in 11 years. They can't do that. It's not right.
