This bank is AWESOME, if you are trying to save this is the right choice, good rate of interest, much better than other banks

You can also have direct deposit and avoid the 3 bussines days that you usually wait to get the money in your HSBC Advance acccount from your bank. I wish it could be less but nothing is perfect in this life. The best of all if you need your money and you cannot wait to transfer it back to your bank you can use any ATM and they will not charge a fee and they also will give you back the fee that the other bank carged you. Im happy I never accepted the offers from Chase or Bank of America to open a savings account, they dont have a good rate of interst or you need to have a minimum or link your accounts to avoid fees.

This bank is all you need to save money :)

It Is Not A Reliable Bank Bad Experience.

They just closed my checking account without notice.... The smart supper visor stated they reserve the right to close the account anytime they like without any notice... So watch out guys. They will close your account just for no reason... The customer service is only 1800 number they transfer you to india or other country with all my respect to all nationalities. I will be closing all my accounts with hsbc after 10 years of banking with them as recently they becoming ridiculous. I've a free checking account and one day someone " the wizard of oz" decide to make my account premier without my consent...!!!!??. Recently tried to buy airline ticket online and informed them ahead of time with the exact value... The payment didn't go through after recalling them three times the price of the airline ticket went 200$ because of that. I was on vacation in miami and tired to buy something from walgreen's after waiting 30 minute in line at walgreen the payment didn't go through. I can't count how many problems i've with them recently. They officially closed the branch where i opened my account in brooklyn 86th st. And in woodbridge, nj. I think they are going down soon so watch out guys.. It is not a reliable bank

I've had issues .... not just issue... issues...

HSBC is most disappointing bank I ever done business with. I had credit card account with them for the same they harassed me like anything. Last year in December as I was planning to visit some other country, I closed my credit card account and paid my all dues. Now, one month back they called my parents and asked them to pay remaining dues. When I checked with their customer care reprehensive he said that I need to extra fine as I paid my original dues by cash. Funny thing when I explained him my problem that I can't pay you by check as I am going to be out of country for few years, that customer care guy told me that he can't help me and I am not allowed to opt for online transfer. Then yesterday my parents again received harassment call from HSBC asking for remaining dues (fun fact: this due is very small).
