Years ago I used their ATM machine, using a card from another bank. The guy in front of me was very angry. He was elderly so I figured he didn't understand technology. I use the machine, and everything seems alright. However, when it said it was dispensing cash nothing came out. I went in and reported it. They said they had to review it. I kept calling and calling for months and they said they were still investigating. I finally gave up and got screwed out of $80.
I boycotted them for years. Then I get an offer in the mail from them for a free $100. Cool, I figured I would join that and it would make up for the $80 they stole from me. I entered the promotional code online and it said redeemed. I went into the bank and they told me that offer is expired. I asked how is this possible since the expiration date hasn't been reached. They said they canceled the offer. I told them it's false advertising, and nowhere did it say they could cancel the promotion early.
Their employees are the rudest people on earth. If you bank with Huntington your a total sucker.
Asked for a copy of the policy regarding deposits. I was told that they don't give policy out to customers or public. LOL, was told it was their policy not to give out the policy. And if i didn't like the policy to go bank somewhere else. Aside from the lack of assistance, and complete uncaring attitude, the unprofessional way this problem was addressed is what is most irritating......that and the fact that its still unresolved. Save yourself some frustration and bank elsewhere. On the other side get a job with Huntington, and then you can be rude and ignorant with the bonus of being payed for it.
Worst bank ever! Slow service everyone I come here im waiting at the drive through window min of 20 minutes for a deposit. The staff is rude and incompetent they have made numerous mistakes on deposits and will argue with customers even when they are wrong. I have been waiting today at the window for 25 min. Pressed the talk button 2xs before they responded and was told to hold on again
