Extremely poor customer service. Doesn't even know how to greet a customer with a "hello". Teller sat at a far desk, looked up and said with a frown and cold voice, "YES?"
Same teller made an error and refused to allow me access to my safe deposit. Wrongly claimed that I had owed for the previous year. Despite very high account balances and a long history with the bank, she held my safe deposit hostage until I paid $50. The manager was not around and the supervisor agreed with her with the same cold indifference. .
The next day, the manager apologized and returned the $50 to me.
There have ben other incidents of rude service in the past. Thankfully I am no longer with that bank.
They mistakenly kept a lein on my property because of an old home equity loan from 6 years ago that they didn't close our properly. Now I'm trying to refinance and can't because it has taken them over 4 weeks and they still can't get the lein removed. They admit it was their mistake, but just keep complaining about their backlog of data. Very frustrating.
