Customer service (once you could get someone on the phone) was absolutely absurd. Regions overdrafted me with monthly fees then claimed that a transaction (which i executed in person at a branch) did not happen, therefore they closed my account due to the overdraft and inactivity. I ended up having to cover the overdraft once again to stop collections and they told me "this is not burger king. " never ever again, steer clear from this horrible excuse of a bank!
Had over a month and a half to close my house and kept pushing the dates further and further because they slacked and couldn't get their shit together!! Told me all kinds of different numbers and then all kinds of excuses just to cover theirselves. Will NEVER use this bank again for a mortgage and would encourage nobody to use Todd cowart or his team! Worst experience I have ever had and would make me never want to buy a house again.
To think that we trust this bank with our hard earned money. These people are so untrained and ill-informed it makes your head spin. Personel turnover should be a red flag that this is a place to be avoided. You have been warned!
