Long story short! I read these horrible reviews... Then i opened an account (yes stupid me! ) i thought to myself, no bank can honestly be that bad. Can they? Yes..Oh yes they can. I'm not one to air "dirty laundry. " but i will tell you this.. In two weeks, two weeks mind you.. They managed to mess up my savings and checking. Charged me two nsf fees (which in fairness to them they did refund ) saying "this is very unusual. Blah blah blah." but then...
They proceeded to put a "hold" on my account... (which i didn't even know about until i called them) when they put a hold on an account the account holder is welcome to make deposits.. But cant do anything else. Cant use a debit card. Cant make a withdrawal. Literally. Nothing. They say this is done to protect your account. Lol.. Really? Seriously?
Not to mention.. Messing up two check orders back to back. Like i said in the beginning.. This is my fault for not trusting the reviews i read.Take it from me. Do yourself a favor. Believe these reviews... People including me aren't wasting time signing up to post reviews just for the fun of it. Oh. I almost forgot! Regions charges $25 per account (savings and checking) if you close your account within six months!
To think that we trust this bank with our hard earned money. These people are so untrained and ill-informed it makes your head spin. Personel turnover should be a red flag that this is a place to be avoided. You have been warned!
This bank is so terrible at customer service after years of being with them, that I finally pulled my checking & savings accounts & went to Chase bank who is wonderful! Unfortunately I still have a loan account through Regions.They lost a payment sent to them from Chase. (typical) and racked up tons of late charges on my account. When I asked them to please refund the charges after everything was cleared up. If something got lost in the mail it is not the banks error.
Wow, I don't want to give them even 1 star. Their customer service is NON-EXSISTENT!!!
