I was unfortunatley drawn to suntrust for a new mortgage on a home we were interested in buying. With a closing date in the way distant (3 mos as requested by the sellers), all was well. 1 month before closing, we had delivered all of the items that were required for the underwriters to proceed and the closing date and time had been settled as the date recommended by suntrust. Based on their information, we gave our notice to our apartment rental and scheduled movers. Unfortunately for us, the closing date came and went. We had to leave our apartment as they had rented out to someone else. We had no place to keep our furniture and had no place to stay. We are almost a week into this and there is still no news from them. We are continuing to pay for a hotel and storage fees. Excuses of overbooked underwriters is no longer acceptable to me. Managers won't return a call and are apparently fine with everyone else receiving my wrath. "dream house and good rates are too good to be true" should be their new motto.
They are rude, inconsiderate and don't have any idea how to act to keep a customer. They should have classes showing them how to treat their customers. Marcus Lamar treated me like crap on his "high horse" just because he is on the other side of the desk. This branch should really just shut down.
I went to cash in my check from work and the first time i went to this location the man working did this for me with no problems. Two weeks later i go back and get the lady on the left side and she told me that i didn't have enough money in my account to deposit my check and that i cant deposit it anyways since the check is from a different bank. Next time i'll just go to my usual bank in powell where i've never had an issue!
