We have been a loyal Sun Trust Customer for 5.5 years and have found them to be totally non customer focused. We made several attempts to re-finance our adjustable mortgage and even applied for hardship with no responses. The mortgage re-set this year to a fair rate but because they took advantage of a 5 year term of falling rates with no effort to help us re-finance, we will never do business with them again. If fact if rates rise we will walk away like so many others have done. No one even bothers to return our calls because we are current and maintain a high credit score. Their attitude is we'll collect and help cover our other loses. They have done nothing with HARP or HEMP to help borrowers.BAD LENDER. STAY AWAY from Sun Trust!
We have had an account with this bank for less than 3 months and will be closing our account. They are continually telling us different things about policy and changes. Every time i ask a question i am told one thing and then something else happens. I am three different things and then an entirely different outcome occurs. I am so tired of not knowing what is happening with my money all the time. I am so tired of asking people questions and never getting a straight answer. I am closing my account this week and finding another! One of the tellers, emily, was so rude i refuse to go back to this location. I have never been treated with such disdain. I thought i was a customer not an inconvenience!
They are rude, inconsiderate and don't have any idea how to act to keep a customer. They should have classes showing them how to treat their customers. Marcus Lamar treated me like crap on his "high horse" just because he is on the other side of the desk. This branch should really just shut down.
