Closing My Account Asap!

First and foremost, worst experience ever. They lied many times, received a debit card in the mail but no pin, was told the pin would arrive in 2-3 days. Never came. Took over a month to receive a working debit card. They have many many kinds of dumb fees. They scam you with over draft fees (over $400 in my case) i did the refer a friend and never received my $25. The tellers harass you into opening all kinds of useless accounts. You can't do debit, only credit. I would never recommend this bank to anyone.

TCF Dose Not Care About Their Customers At All.

Tcf bank has horrible customer service and absolutely could not care any less about its customers. They have very poor online services. They canceled my debit card due to a security breach at a store that i shopped at. They gave me no warning that the card would be deactivated and then said that they would charge me $25. 00 to send me a new card quickly, otherwise i would have to wait 10 business days for a debit card. I told them that i would be closing all of my accounts and their response was "ok". My advice is bank anywhere else.

TCF Customer Service Line Are A Bunch Of Liars.

Banked with them since 1985. I've been trying to get a new atm card since september 2014, it's november 2014. I'm part of the home depot breech. I've spent over 227 minutes on the phone and five visits to the branch trying to resolve this. One conclusion, their help desk is either totally incompetent or a room full of liars. No working atm cards but they're always going to send a replacement to me using some sort of 2 day mail service. Or i can spend $35. 00 for a rush service.

Was insulted by a branch manager who seemed more interested in that i close my accounts and she continue with whatever she actually does all day. Oh but if i wanted to stay and get a replacement faster, i could spend $ 35. 00... Loved the old branch, people were great. 29 years with the same bank says a lot in today's world. Too bad there won't be 30 years.
