Closed Early!!

I showed up to the jewel branch at 5:50p.m. on Saturday June 6th and no one was at the counter when the internet hours said they are open to 6pm.

Not very good at helping out customers

I've been with TCF for about 6 years. Up until about a year ago they were great. One day I went to go use my debit card and a message came up unauthorized user. I called customer service who told me my account number was compromised so they shut my card down. I asked if they mailed me a new card and they said no but they would and it would take 3-5 days. I never received any type of letter or notice telling me any of this then last week I noticed a huge purchase on my account that wasn't mine so I called in to dispute it. They took all my info and told me to go into a branch to sign a paper to get it going. I did all that and was told I wouldn't be responsible for any overdraft fees incurred by this as it overdrew my account but the next day I see over $100 in overdraft fees and am told by customer service that it would take 10 days for them to investigate it and I was just out the money until it was resolved. Also the day I called to dispute the item I receive a letter and a new card saying my account was compromised (again) and here was my new card but my old one would remain active (though it had been hacked already). So they are taking no responsibility for this and I have no money to pay bills as it's all tied up in this fraud case and overdraft fees. I'm definitely changing banks as talking to friends and family have been told their banks all reverse the charges immediately during the investigation.
