I used td bank for a mortgage in connection with a recent home purchase. The loan processor was poor at communication and did not ensure the loan closed on time. She did not do her job very well and i made multiple attempts to get status updates about the loan - while in process. Td bank offers an on time loan guarantee of $500; however, they did not honor the guarantee and will not respond to my requests/demands that they explain their position regarding their denial of the guarantee. They had very competitive rates, but their customer services was substandard. If you need to close on a date certain day be very careful about using/choosing td bank.
TD bank started off very good. they have now charged me over 350.00 in overdraft fees for 2 and 3 dollar pending charges. How am I negative any funds I get direct deposit every Friday and my bills are not even paid out of this account. This is just my play money account. When I call to find out why the charges if there is money in the account they cant justify the charges. The are ridiculous and there customer service is horrendous. I have had the account for a little less that a year and am closing the account now.
I have been trying since Octoboer of 2013 to get one person to return my phone calls in reference to a property that is listed on the foreclosure list. As of date not one phone call or email has been responded to.
