Among The Worst

Us bank, as i was told, is growing. While i am not sure what that exactly means but what i can see is they wouldn't be able to "grow" much - at least not vertically. They seem to be getting fatter because they have more fat brains working for them. Take the internet banking for example, it's could be and should be rated as the worst service from a major banking institution. The presentation of the online banking website is stupid, illogical, and dysfunctional. Many links lead to deadpage or error pages without any meaningful explanation.

And when you call in to speak with customer service or tech support (if you can call it that), you would be take for a ride and in the end, you will realize you've wasted an hour or two on a bunch of incompetent idiots. The only thing they can do well at is to frustrate their 'customers' (more like victims). So, before you open an account with us bank, ask yourself if you would need lots of internet banking. If so, do yourself a favor: go elsewhere for your banking needs. Life is too short to get your blood pressure pumped up by a bunch of idiots at us bank internet banking service.

NO public restroom for customers...

My husband and I moved to this area from northern Illinois.. We used the US banks there and loved the courtesy and convenience they provided for the general public as well as customers.. This bank, to our surprise, has no public restrooms! We travel a distance to get there and what an inconvenience to have to search for a restroom to use because the bank does not provide one.. NOT a good feeling. The building is very nice, clean, and the staff we dealt with was very helpful and courteous.. Some transactions were limited because it is a branch office. Our complaint is NO public restroom... I think a restroom for customers is a must in a place of business..Such a nice building and it isn't welcoming at all because of this lack of service.

Poor technical support and customer service

I was convinced by my car dealer to use them for my car loan. I tried signing in for online access to pay the monthly due. There was an error in the system. I have been calling them daily for the past 3 days and each day is a different story. On the third day, the representative said they need 3 more days to give me online access. All this trouble for me to pay money to them . When you call their 1800 number first it goes to a regular agent who asks 4 questions and then pass it on to an online banker who asks the same 4 questions. Then he has to call tech support and then they come back with there is an error in the system. 12 times the same four questions and no progress. I have seen comcast do such poor customer service but a bank... and this is for me to pay them. I wonder how they are if I need something from them. And if the service is so messed up to even set up an online account, I wonder how safe my information is with them.

I have banked with chase all along and I am thankful they are not a bunch of incompetant people like the tech support at US bank. Avoid this bank like the plague.
