Everyone at US Bank has been very helpful and unfortunately there was no on at my branch to do home loan origination so they gave me the name of someone who should have been able to help me in albuquerque, his name is harvey [REDACTED]. When i called him he immediately wanted to know who gave me his number. I told him what i was trying to do and i would be going through the va since i had multiple tours in iraq and he said he would be down in las cruces in a few weeks and talk to him them and abruptly got off the phone.
I called him a week later and he acted like we never talked and he tried to get off the phone as soon as he could, i tried to remind mr. Important of the sacrifices i made but he hung up on me. I contancted another loan originator from us bank and explained my situation and received great service. As far as this secor guy, i have never met a more disrespectful person and would love to meet the coward face to face.
I was banking with charter bank which I loved and never had a problem. When US Bank was taking over Charter, I was getting ready to close out my business account which I hardly was using there but thought I'ld see what this new bank is like. Well accidentally a payment was processed thru by this company that i had told to use another bank account of mine and they didn't and it caused this account to be nsf and overdraft and then another auto pay went through and American Express tried to get a $175 payment from them that I did not authorize.
I was never aware of all of this and I guess bank fees were being assessed and then I received a post card that they wanted $535!!! I went to the bank to discuss this and they said they didn't have access to my Charter account even tho they bought out Charter? But would try to find out what happened and after a month i finally was able to get a hold of charter myself since us bank didn't seem to be following up for me. I brought in the paperwork to show them and somehow a $217. 00 overdraft from Charter turned into a $535 balance with US Bank.
I finally had to contact the CEO of US Bank in Minnesota to get this resolved and they ended up charging me the original $215. So I was happy to get this resolved.
I have been a US Bank customer since it was called first bank and i lived in mn. I moved to ca and still was happy. I live in stockton and in the last 6 months have experienced the worst customer service in from any bank in the last 40 years. 3 months ago i had to threaten to close my accounts before they would they'll me, they stockton branch called and found out they could do what i was asking.
Yet again this week, i couldn't get them to take a deposit as i had the wrong account. They wouldn't look up the info, "we don't do that". I just closed on my refine with bank of america and i am also moving my accounts out. I can not believe the condescending attitude and lack of service in stockton.
