Continue to charge $25 on my account while paying me 59 cents in interest. They just don't care about their customer service, until you decided to close all accounts. Then they want to help. Too little too late!
we have had wachovia for maybe a year and since, whenever our direct deposit is set to be deposited they find ways to charge us fees. the latest they charged us nsf fees for funds that cleared our account and they fees that caused our account to go into negative, then they charged us more fees for having a negative balance. might i add, i called and spoke to someone months earlier to take off overdraft protection so if funds were unavailable the card would be declined. i would not recommend anyone to use this rip off bank and definitely don't do direct deposit.
I have been with Wells Fargo since 1996. In that time I have always received outstanding customer service from all the employees from the bank Manager down to the tellers.
I had a substantial amount in the savings, plus a business checking and credit card, along with a personal credit card. I had the personal credit card interest free the first six months I had the account. I spoke with the branch manger of the Goodyear Arizona branch got a real attitude.
Anyway to make a long story short the branch Manager refused to work with me on the interest rate. When I called to close this credit card the people at the credit card section wanted to work with me. When I was at the branch office I got so irritated at the Manager I paid off the card balance right then and closed my savings account.
Eventually the business checking and credit card will also be closed. They have lost me as a customer and could care less.
My advice is if your looking for a bank to put your money in I would continue to look. This is not the bank I am used to dealing with.
