For an undetermined but limited amount of time, the Metropolitan National Bank of New York is currently offering new clients free $200 simply for opening a checking account. This deal is different from most other promotions because the bank is not even advertising the deal at all. Unless you look carefully at the fine print, you won’t even know that you’re eligible for the free $200.

Filling out the application is frustratingly long but it does exist. Take note that it may be important to speak with a bank representative to take advantage of the promotion. If you fill out the application online, stopping by one of their branches may be required.
