More details as follows:
- When you open the account, request for a Sovereign Check Card (SCC)
- Make 6 purchases using your SCC totaling to at least $250 within 60 days after account opening
- Receive your $100 cash credit 15 days after the 60-day account opening period
- Personal checking customers who have an existing checking account with Sovereign Bank, or any individual who has opened a Sovereign checking within the last 6 months is not eligible for the promo
- The cash bonus will be reported to the IRS as interest
