- It’s easier to be financially organized. No need to file tons of paper – Wells Fargo does the ‘filing’ and the organization for you, up to 7 years of transaction statements for deposit accounts. You have the option to access it directly from the bank’s site, or saving the statement to your computer so you can easily print a copy if you need one.
- It reduces the chances of identity fraud. Note that 85% of identity fraud stems from paper statements, checks or bills that fall into the wrong hands. Plus, any suspicious activity in an account is detected more quickly online.

Switching to paperless statements is free and easy. Just follow these three steps:
1. Log in to wellsfargo.com and go to Account Services.
2. Under Account Services, choose Change Delivery Preferences.
3. Select Online Only from the Delivery Preferences, then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
