FirstBank’s $50 Checking Account Promo
This bank deal has expired. For the most up to date bank deals, check out our fresh list of bank deals.
FirstBank is currently running a promo that offers a $50-cash incentive for newly opened personal checking accounts. You can choose from First Bank’s Free Checking, Money Market Checking, Premier Checking, and 55-Plus Checking. Unlike other cash bonuses from other banks, FirstBank doesn’t require direct deposits to the account for the customer to avail of the bonus.
There are however, some important guidelines indicated in the fine print. Check these out:
- A minimum of $50 is required to receive the $50-cash gift.
- The offer is limited to one bonus per household within a 12-month period, and one cash award per account.
- The bonus will be given upon account opening but is considered as interest and as such, is subject to IRS.
- The newly opened account should be maintained for at least 6 months; otherwise, the $50 gift will be withdrawn.
- The promo is open only to individuals who maintain an address in the states of Colorado and Arizona, and Riverside County, California.
Depending on the checking account that you open and the type of services you avail of, there could be some potential fees that you might need to pay. More details on the promo and the bank’s checking account features can be found on the website page for FirstBank checking accounts.
