Once this is complete and your account has been credit, which should happen automatically, visit the promo page is located at www.ingdirect.com/electric50, and complete the following steps to receive the additional $50 bonus:
- Open a new Electic Orange Account by July 31, 2009
- You must be a new customer to receive the $50 credit
- You may open this account with just $1
- The promo is limited to one bonus per household
- Note that while the $50 will be credited and can earn interest on the same day the account is opened, it is unavailable for withdrawal for the next 50 days

The only actions required to receive the $50 bonus are to use your Electric Orange Debit Card Card to make at least 3 signature-based purchases in the first 45 days after your account has been opened.
Within 50 days you should have access to an additional $75 dollars. Lastly, ING Direct has a strong refer-a-friend program that can earn you $10 and your friend $25 for every account opened.
