Earn 4.01% APY From Lake City Bank’s Rewards Checking

Here’s something we rarely see these days: a checking account that comes with no fees and no minimum balances, yet pays premium interest on your deposit and even refunds other banks’ ATM fees. This is the Lake City Bank Rewards Checking, a free checking account that comes with a lot of perks. No minimum balances, free online banking, and free bill pay services are only part of the package.

What other rewards are in store for a Lake City Bank Rewards Checking account holder?

  • An interest rate of 4.01% APY on balances up to $25,000
  • Automatic refund of ATM fees up to $25 per statement cycle when you use other banks’ ATMs

Here’s how you can avail of these rewards:

  • Make 8 debit card purchases;
  • Receive at least 1 direct deposit, or setup one ACH auto debit from your account;
  • Go green and do away with paper statements. Agree to receive statements online through your valid email address. By doing this, you can save your statements electronically and still have access to them anytime you want to.

Note that the required transactions need to be done regularly within every statement cycle.

In case, you are unable to meet the requirements for a certain month, your interest will only go down to 0.10% APY for that month, but as soon as you get back on track, the premium interest rate will be reinstated and you will again be entitled to the ATM refunds.

Lake City Bank’s main office is located in Warsaw, Indiana, with branches located across the state.
