This week, Bank of America launched a nice promotion where you can earn a $50 credit after applying for their Visa Cash Rewards Card and making a few qualifying payments. To qualify for the $50 statement credit offer, your new account must be used to make any combination of purchase, balance transfer or cash advance transactions totaling at least $25 (excluding transaction fees) within 45 days of the account open date. Limit (1) item per new account. Allow 8-12 weeks from qualifying for the statement credit to post to your account.

What is a Cash Bank Card?
This type of card gives the consumer the opportunity to earn cash back on items purchased. The return usually comes in the form of a rebate on such itemsas gas, groceries and drugs at your local drug store. Additionally you will see a return on all other expenditures, but usually at a lower percentage i.e. 1% vs. 3-5%.
