The Crescent State Bank of North Carolina has just announced the introduction of a new points program for VISA debit card users. The program is named Points2U and it offers customers the chance to earn a point for each $2 that they spend on debit card purchases.
The bank will issue customers with quarterly printed statements and monthly statements by e-mail so that they can keep a check on the points earned. These points can be used for the purchase of airline tickets, holidays, card rental and a variety of goods bought from participating retail outlets, both online and offline.
Points2U only applies to holders of Crescent State Bank VISA® debit cards in good credit, and the offer is subject to a number of conditions. For example, if you want to use your points for a travel purchase you need a minimum of 4,200 points while a merchandise purchase needs a minimum 2,500 points. Also, all points must be redeemed within three years of the month when they were earned.
