Sovereign Bank is once again offering a $100 checking bonus to new applicants. The offer is available online or at any local branch. To acquire the bonus you need to open a new checking account with a minimum deposit of $100 by October 30, 2009. You will also need to complete the following tasks:
- Add or connect a Sovereign Savings or Money Market Savings account with $100 deposit.
- Enroll in free online banking and request a Sovereign CheckCard.
- Use the CheckCard and to make 2 qualified purchases within 60 days.
Once you complete the requirements, $100 will be credited to your account within 75 days of opening the checking account.
Small Print:
- One credit per customer.
- Offer expires October 30, 2009.
- Current personal checking customers or anyone who has had a personal checking account with Sovereign Bank or any of its divisions in the last 6 months are not eligible for this offer.
- Current employees of Sovereign Bank or any of its divisions are also not eligible for this offer.
- The offer is available across multiple checking accounts including Sovereign Premier Checking, Business Owner Premier Checking, Interest Checking or Partnership Checking account.
Residence. Sovereign requires that your residence be located in ME, VT, NH, CT, RI, MA, NY, NJ, PA, WV, MD, DE, or the District of Columbia.
