Fifth Third Bank Offers Price Protection with World Debit MasterCard
MasterCard has announced that Fifth Third Bank will now distribute its World Debit card, a debit card that targets high-spending users who are looking for more rewards. World Debit MasterCard users benefit from high level security, unique rewards, and great customer service.
Some of the features of the World Debit card include:
- Price Protection refunds the difference in your purchase price if the same item is found for a lower price within 60 days
- Privileged access to the MasterCard Savings PlusTM program – a $29.95 value
- Doubles manufacturers product warranties
- Protection against unauthorized purchases if your card is lost or stolen
- The $3.95 monthly World Debit MasterCard fee is waived with a Rewards Checking Account and $1,500 or more in monthly signature-based debit card purchases.
- Automatically enrollment in enhanced rewards program; earn one point for every $1 spent on signature purchases, with no limit on how many rewards points you can earn each year.
- When combined with the Fifth Third Rewards Checking account, customers also can earn one point for every $10 in direct deposits to their checking account.
- Personal security benefits prevent cardholder liability in the event of unauthorized use of a card, ID Theft Resolution that provides credit bureau notification, ID Theft Affidavit and other services, and Wallet Protection for reporting and locking out lost or stolen cards.
In addition, World Debit MasterCard users will gain access to Priceless.com/World, which gives the cardholder exclusive access to events, games, and deals on hotels, shopping and travel.
