Bank of the West has made the decision to extended their $100 checking bonus offer until December 12, 2009. This is the second time Bank of the West has launched this deal since August. To earn the $100 bonus all you have to do is:
- Open any new personal checking account,
- Establish one monthly recurring direct deposit of at least $250 to your new account OR pay 10 bills online
If you choose to take the direct deposit option, make sure the first post is active in your account within 60 calendar days of your account opening date. This 60 day requirement also applied to the 10 bill payments. The bonus will be credited to your account within 60 days after satisfaction of all necessary conditions. Also, don’t forget that Bank of the West will report the value of the offer to the IRS on Form 1099.
