M&I Bank has offered mobile banking since last year, but recently they have just announced the launch of their iPhone and iPod Touch application for a faster and more convenient experience. After reviewing the features it seems M&I made the decision to re-purpose their existing platform rather than build a new one, introducing only one new feature with the app , which is the ability to store your local banks contact information within the app and in your iPhone contacts.

By downloading the application, members of the bank will now have the ability to complete the following tasks from either their Phone and iPod Touch:
- Manage your Finances: Check account balances, transfer funds between M&I accounts, pay bills
- Find M&I: Locate and get directions to the nearest M&I branch or ATM through iPhone’s GPS
- Contact your Banker: Store your banker’s contact information for easy, one-touch access within the app and your iPhone contacts
