Everyone is happier when they know they are getting something built just for them. While many banks offer bonuses for opening accounts or adding features to their existing accounts, M&T Bank lets you “Build Your Own Bonus,” giving you an opportunity to earn up to $150 when you open a new account.

Get Bonuses For Things You Want

The problem with most package bonus deals is that they often require that you sign up for a bunch of features you may not really want. The M&T Bank offer lets you choose only the options you really want, while still getting some free cash out of the deal.

“Consumers are increasingly looking to customize purchases to fit their specific needs and we’ve extended that concept to our financial service products. M&T is allowing customers to build their own bonus to highlight additional features of our checking products which many customers find useful,” said Sam Guerrieri, senior vice president in charge of M&T’s retail branch network.

The Details

In order to qualify for your bonus, you can choose any combination of the following checking account options:

  • Activate direct deposit – Up to $100 bonus (amount may vary with account)
  • Web bill pay – $50 bonus
  • Overdraft Protection – $50 bonus

If you choose to activate all of these features, you will receive the maximum bonus of $150. The bonuses are only available to customers who are opening a new checking account with M&T Bank, requires an initial deposit of $25, and does not apply to M&T Totally Free, @ College or Basic Banking accounts.
