Chase Card Services has announced today that it plans to make some changes to its Freedom credit card. The changes will increase the amount of cash back customers receive and avoid interest on everyday purchases.

During these economic times, finding a way to earn a little extra cash is never a bad thing.  A year ago points were the main draw, but Chase seem to think offering a 1% cash back on everything you buy is what consumers really want.
