Just when Bank of America thought it was off the hook concerning the controversy over its 2009 merger with Merrill Lynch, New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has issued a law suit charging the bank with fraud and deception of New York taxpayers and shareholders.

Despite the controversies surrounding the later part of his tenure as Bank of America CEO, Ken Lewis' shoes may still be a tad too difficult to fill. A number of potential candidates have been named but so far, no forerunners have been identified.

As if Bank of America isn't having a hard enough time replacing CEO Ken Lewis, now three bank officials have been asked to testify at a congressional hearing this month.
