I don't even know where to start. Perhaps the 3 overdraft charges that they hit me with. I haven't received anything in the mail. I can't login to their website. They decided they didn't have my info and suspended my account which left me stranded an hour from home this weekend. I verified my account with my electric bill. I want my money back!

“ATM Deposit always down”
I just went there yesterday on Sunday, this AM and this afternoon and the deposit for ATM was not allowed to work, so then I went through the drive thru and no response after ringing the bell 3 times the car in front of me, so I got out and knocked at the window and the bank lady, long brown hair and unattractive gave me a dirty look. So I backed up and went inside and told her I do not appreciate her response and told her how upset I was and she began to argue with me that it was ATM's fault. She never once said sorry....

“Really Bad Banking Professionals”
They keep schuffling my credits and debits around,giving me NFS fees when theres money in the bank,And of course the wont fix it but screw you,yes they will.Screen shot your account and they still will try to justify the shuffle.I made 5 purchases during my work day checking my account each time.Then i go to do a transaction at midnight for a lorger amount,they take that one first and throw all the small ones into NFS.Wheres the people who regulate the banks?

“The people are freaking money grubbing jerks!”
I accidentally short paid my monthly installment by 80 cents, and they charged me a 39 dollar late fee. Jerkwads won't waive that late fee unless I make ANOTHER $10 payment over the phone! As if! Like I have a ten dollar tree growing in my back yard! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK, they are so not consumer friendly. Seriously, $40 for an eighty cent mistake! BURN IN HELL CORPORATE MACHINE

“These people are Cheaters!! No Kindle Fire!!”
They just promise to give Kindle Fire HD when you open the Checking's Account. I opened the account and while opening the account they did not tell that International customers cannot pay bills online.
After failing to pay bills online, I went to Branch office and asked, that why I am not able to pay bills Online, then she tells that As I am international student I cannot pay bills online!!! WTH!!
Horrible, incompetent employees don't take responsibility for their mistakes
Don't go for this Bank... I want to give ZERO(0) for this bank, but this site is not letting me to give.

Couldnt reach via telephone, rings and rings, tried main number someone by the name of velma finally answered and then hung up before answering my question.. Do yourself a favor and runnnnnnnnnnnnnn.. This is probably the worst example of a bank ever seen

“Terrible customer service”
tried making a payment online only to have system errors cannot process try again later, so I called and talked them by phone to make sure that they got their payment. They told me the online payment did not go through so just make payment with the phone attendant. Well low behold a couple days later two payments went through my bank now have overdraft fees coming out the butt. called them and explained the situation to them and they told me to fax them a copy of my bank statement showing that they drafted two payment at one time and i did (Tuesday). Called everyday for status, where i was put on hold over and over again, I asked them every time if there was anything they need from me to move it along and they told me nothing was needed. Called today (Monday) they tell it is still being researched. I informed them that they should have everything they need as it was faxed to them on Tuesday of last week, then they put me on hold and come back they tell me that they never recieved the bank statement (which i have a confirmation that they did recieved it, LIARS). Conveniently they put me on hold (call time was @ 40 minutes) until the time that their last Fedex shipment went out and said sorry you missed our last ship time, if you would have called earlier it would have gone out today, but it will go out tomorrow. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR MONEY AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET BACK FROM THEM ONCE THEY GET THEIR GRUBBY HANDS IT!!!!! I'D GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE FIVE (-5) BUT WAS NOT AN OPTION HERE

“Setting up new accounts”
After a long wait and much travail, I received a check in the mail. It was a burden to think that I would have to attempt to navigate a whole set of new accounts to help in this matter. Mrs. Carlissa at this branch (but only on Saturdays!) was a God-send! She made time for my two daughters and myself. She answered the questions we had with easy-to-understand responses and she made what could have be an onerous, confusing experience seem like a visit to a bank that values their customers, old and new. Thanks, Mrs. Carlissa and BBVACompass for being such a great place to bank.

“Worst Experience Ever!!! They Will Hold Your Money Hostage With Their "policies"”
Avoid bbva compass bank like the plague! They are wonderful until they have your money then they hold it hostage with "bank or card policies" i got a 1500 secured credit card so basically i put 1500 in a savings they froze it and i got a card with a 1300 limit, in september i called into my branch as i was instructed to do by the people at card services and asked them to use the money in savings to pay off the balance close the account and send me the difference. They closed the account did not pay it off i found out 32 days later called in and they said that they would reinstate the card that i cant use the savings to pay it off, only way to do that is to default then they report to your credit. So i always made my payments never late. I then am told sorry cant reinstate it because its been longer than 30 days i will have to give them another 1500 and get a new card! Hahaha r u f'ing kidding me! So i have a useless card and they have my money! I paid it off on 3/1/13 today i called to get my money! They said you will be able to go into a branch on 3/29/13 and u should be able to withdraw your money then. Our policy is a 20 business day waiting period after the account is paid off! I get that for accounts that are still active but my account has been closed since last september due to their screw up! No new charges can possibly come through! With that i say a big f for u to bbva compass bank!!!! I would give them all zeros but 1 is the lowest score allowed.

“*** Wow ... Stay Away *** ”
I went to see the bank about an incident where another bank had rejected an online transaction with paypal and had used this bank as a secondary account. When i realized and came to see them the teller told me to get the over draft fee from the other bank! And did nothing telling me it was my problem and nothing to do with them! **** stay away and do not bank here ever ***
good bye bbva compass how many customers will you treat like they are something under your shoes!

“The worst ever, management is given an F by me as well as the employees”
Redwood City Branch, SHOULD NOT BE OPEN! they expect other BBVA Banks Branches to do their work, Customer service, notifying or helping with problems on an account. Don't ask questions,or ask to have money moved from one account to another, as they all seem helpless, they direct you to customer service. The employees do not help there customers. Watch out for USF charges. They will not tell you what the numbers attached mean. Balance with money one day then get charged for NSF the next day with nothing going out. They do not have Safe Deposit Boxes. There face is false, with split tongue. This branch gets an F. You need to prove their charges are incorrect, they do not have answers to the deductions on the account. This branch is extremely below average from other banks. Get rid of them while you have money.
