I am 21 and opened 2 credit cards online without reading anything about them. I always pay my bills a week before they're due because I have anxiety about late payments and bad credit. I didn't understand how I paid my bill early but didn't have the full available credit so I called Bank of America customer service. ROCHELLE was beyond amazing and I hold client service very high and she surpassed my standards! I did not understand the issue whatsoever and she patiently explained it in like 20 different ways until I completely understood, she even offered to transfer me to someone who could help me further if she wasn't capable of doing so. After I got what she was saying I asked her a few more questions and she's not only very intelligent but she's so personable. She's seriously amazing and made my day! She made my baking experience easier and When you understand what's going on with your money your life is easier! THANK YOU ROCHELLE AND BANK OF AMERICA

Worst Banking Experience: Random fees, Impossible to speak with real people, Nonexistent college/student banking account

1.) Bank of America has random fees all the time. Monthly fees can be withdrawn from your account any time between the 3rd or 10th of a month to the 17th or 31st of the month. It is never consistent.

2.) The online banking is very well laid out and probably the only good thing I can say about Bank of America. It's been the thing that always cues me into Bank of Americas short comings.

3.) In terms of costumer service it is nearly impossible to speak with real people. If you can manage to find their customer service number online you'll be able to speak with machines or hold for at least 20 minutes in order to speak with real people.

They now have a chat box feature for "live chats" with costumer service people. Which I figured would be my shot at actually talking to a real person. Here's a word-for-word copy of my "live" service person "Dorian" and proof that it is once again a machine.

You: "You are just repeating yourself, if you are not a machine I am asking you to please stop the messages. I do not want to exit the "chat box" until I can record the full conversation. Until I can do so, please stop. Thank you"

Dorian: You are welcome.

Dorian: Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

Dorian: "Are you still with me? Please respond so I can leave this chat window open to answer any questions for you."

Dorian: "Due to the elapsed time since we received your last message, we are exiting the chat session. If you wish to chat with a Bank of America associate again, please click "Chat Online Now."

4.) I am telling you, if you are considering this bank PLEASE THINK AGAIN!

Bank of America SUCKS!!!!!!!

I had been a member since 97 payments always on time.

Then I got a rewards card I did over$ 300,0000+ business with them in just the last 3 years only ,I miss 2 months payment waiting for our Construction loan to roll into a mortgage.

They were paid in full in April 2013 , with a check in access of over $39,000 , they LOST!!!!! the Check for over a Month!!!!

Won't tell me where it went or what happened to it.

Bank of America Canceled my card and Took all the Rewards points Away Over 250,000 +

We really Don't need Banks that rip Off Hard Working people !!!!

I hope You really reconsider putting YOUR Hard earned Money in this Bank!!!!

I Rate this Bank at Negative 200 They are thieves in my eyes

terrible customer service

any time i have turned to customer service in this bank, they were never of any hep. They were never "able to do anything" to hep me, but "apologized for the inconvenience it has caused me". Worst customer service in a bank i have ever come across. JP Morgan Chase is a much better bank!

Criminal-B of A Was an Accessory to Fraud

Bank of America refused to reverse charges from Community Legal Center, a company that defrauded me. Basically, Bank of America is an accessory to the criminal fraud described below. In billing disputes, B of A sides with the merchant 99.9% of the time, even when they have a stack of consumer complaints against the merchant. They make it very, very easy for dishonest merchants to rip people off. I would not receommend B of A to my worst enemy.

This legal center is a total scam. They advertise a one hour consultation for $50 every Saturday on a drop in basis. Then they ask for your credit card to charge the $50 fee to and then start charging your card for additional charges BEFORE they even give you your consultation and without your authorization for these phony charges. If you ask your credit card company to reverse them, they will produce documents with your forged signature. If you show them ANY documents during the consultation, they will claim they copied them at a cost of $23.75 per page. The consultation is supposed to include a brief review of legal documents related to your legal issues. However, if the attorney asks even a single question on any legal document you are showing them, this becomes another fee over and above the consultation at a rate of $95 per one minute question. All their quotes and legal agreements are on a huge database and it takes them all of two minutes to pull up these pre-prepared forms and put your name into the quote or the agreement but this very brief service becomes a $200 fee. And if you, the customer, complete any legal forms on your own WITHOUT asking the center's employees ANY questions, the time YOU spend filling out the forms becomes billable time ,. Gee, I bet tax accountant wish they all could charge clients for preparing their own tax returns!!! These folks are charging $275 an hour for having the customer fill out their own forms with no assistance.

The Worst Bank! Save Yourself The Hassels

I have a credit card with them and my home morgage since 2009. They are consistently the worst company ever to deal with. I never have had a late payment on my accounts, but have had repeated problems getting information or business taken care of with out problems. Their customer service lacks in everyway over the phone! You are stuck with a horrendous automated system.

Albuquerque,NM (Juan Tabo) location. Betty Banuelos and manager (Regina)

Bettty stated she was going to refund me $53.70 in maintanence fee's and they refunded $8.95. She denied she had ever stated that and this caused some withdrawals to bounce. Regina came over and told me i should look at my accounts every month and this would not have happened. Regina also said that they could not help me and i would have to contact the branch i opened my account at and walked away. There customer service skills are horrible and after this experience i will no longer bank with Bank of America. They look at people that have the most $ in their accounts and that is how you treat your clients! You both are very unprofessional and zero customer service skills. This complaint also went to your head manger Lonnie!

Pathetic

My debit card was lost and i ordered for a new one.

They charged me $5 fee but the card did not arrive even after 15 days.

Later wen i asked the bank they told they will issue a new card and will charge $20 fee for rush delivery

How Pathetic is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!

BOA has only one priority, and that is themselves! They will do whatever it takes to make sure they make money. Even to the extent of lies regarding payments, balances, and mortgage payments. Remember in 2008 when they were going through difficult times? Who did they turn to? They went straight to Washington for a bailout. Who funded that? Oh yes, we the tax payers. However, if a customer experiences financial difficulties, Bank of America is the first to demand payment or they will foreclose. When you contact them to discuss your hardships, all they can say is that you need to find more income. They are a very rude and totally self-centered company who only cares about themselves. Don't ever get involved with this company in any way!

Satisified Customer

I have never had any problems with Bank of America. Love the mobile app and online bill pay. Also love that I can take a picture of a check to deposit straight from my phone and never have to visit a branch. Can't think of anything negative in my experience.
