“Fee insanity....”
After years of okay service, weird bank charges started to appear in my checking and savings accounts. I got a few removed over the phone, but they kept happening, and I finally went to speak to a branch manager to close my accounts. She tried to explain all the fees until she hit one even she couldn't explain - and then she willingly closed them all.
I kept the credit card until today. Chase changed my due date without telling me, and even though I logged online to pay it that day, I was two hours past the deadline and got hit with a $40 fee that they won't refund because "we only refund fees in case of bank error."
So being a good customer who paid on time for four years has earned me no respect at all. I'll be finding a new credit card, and I won't be doing business with Chase EVER again.
