“7% Fdic Sales Scam”
I had a cd come due and the banker told me all these wonderful things about a 7% guaranteed investment that was fdic insured. If it sounds too good to be true, stay away! I own stocks and mutual funds outside this bank and i know a good stock like at&t. The bank is pushing this product but not telling you the full true.... You're better off buying a good stock than giving them a dime! No more, when this thing matures, i'm out.

“billing and invoices appearing for "supposed" work from 2008 on loan payoffs”
This bank should be under Federal investigation - they have added MANY fees and misapplied our May payment to all principle THEN sent us a bill for over $4800 for interest. ALSO, I need the CEO or Sr VP emails addresses so THEY know how horrible their regions are ripping off their customers.

“Worse Bank Ever”
Not only is there customer service terrible, so are their bank statements. U will have to keep a very close eye on ur spending because they will have three different amounts on just the welcome page. When all u want to know is ur ending balance. They want ur business, but take a whole week to clear a check. Comerica would clear my large deposits a 1:30 am. Nomatter what the amount is.
I told the teller I am very unsatisfied with the way my account was being handle, she tells me I can always close the account for 50 dollars. U know what huntington I would pay a 100dollars to get my money out of ur bank forever.... Comerica is better!!!!

“WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE”
Thieves. 1 dollar, 4 minutes late, cost me a total $150 in overdraft fees. My bank ROBBED me and I am absolutely appalled that noone in customer service is allowed to refund a penny. Never again.

“Horrible”
fair warning to anyone opening a Huntington bank account, they will try to make your account overdraft so they can collect overdraft fees, in my case they didnt deposit money from a direct deposit into my account, i then called and they had no record of the deposit i then brought the receipt in for them to see it, they then put the money into the account not waiving the overdraft fees after hours of trouble i got them to get rid of the overdraft fees, now a few months later the same thing has happened, and its very doubtful i will be getting reimbursed for the overdraft fees. To top it all of online banking never works, so in short do not give huntington your business

“Horrible, collection harrassment after deed-in-lieu”
Facing unemployment, a job was suddenly offered out of state. We called Huntington to explain the situation and try to work with them on our mortgage. We were told they couldn't work with us until we missed a couple payments. They denied the two short sale offers we received. Homesavers, the department in Huntington that deals with foreclosures, typically took 2-4 weeks to return phone calls or emails. When the house went into foreclosure, we had to contact their lawyers to get any response. And then after our deed-in-lieu was recorded, of which we recieved notification, we still recieved collection calls on our mortgage. Collection agents were always rude and never seemed to know that we were working with homesavers, often asking questions that we had answered every other time we spoke to them. According to the legal documents we signed and had notarized, regarding the deed-in-lieu, Huntington cannot continue to persue us for the value of the mortgage. So, they also seem to be breaking the law. Never bank with them and certainly never get a mortgage through them.

“No respect at Huntington bank to the customers ”
I was in the Huntington bank in dodge park sterling heights Michigan location to deposit my tax return government checks with total 15k and withdrawal just 5k cash, then I was shocked when the teller told me with big attitude she can't give me that amount ,just because she don't want to,I ask again if they do have that amount and is was just 9:30 AM,she answered we do have the money but I can't do 5k,then I became mad for that poor service they have and I asked to close my both accounts in same time me and my wife ,after all they let me wait 25min to the manager so he could close my accounts ,and here the second main problem : After I told the manager the story he was beside that teller and he want to advise me if I need to cash my government checks next time I need to call 1800 number and check first more than one branch on the phone how much they have and then drive to the branch ,so he mention not to stop in his location any more but in other way, then he took both credit cards and closed both accounts with out any solutions ,he didn't try nothing to keep us as a customers ,plus all the time the manager and the teller didn't say Hi or welcome when we entered or any nice word when we left ,end of this I complaint all that to the Huntington headquarter and I'm waiting now to some one to call me back from that office,,,,after that I did deposit my both checks at my other account in Chase bank with out any problem the cash me 5k from that check very easy ,plus they were veryyyy nice with all people,,,,,,,,,,,Noooo Huntington any more

“Made me feel like a criminal and took $700 from me”
My credit card number was stolen. Two purchases were made totaling just over $700. I discovered this fact two days after the fact, and immediately cancelled my card and called Huntington to report the identity theft. After filling out the necessary paperwork as requested, I was issued my money back. Several weeks later I received a notice that they would be taking my money back out, saying I did make the purchases (and therefore, that I lied about the identity theft).
After spending a week of back and forth to the necessary shipping offices, post office, my landlord's office, etc. as well as multiple phones calls to each place, I submitted the documents and information to prove this was not me. I also requested a phone call to have someone review the entire matter with me and inform me of the outcome. I heard nothing. Then, a week later, they took my money back out of my account.
I have never felt less valued as a customer as Huntington Bank has made me feel during this time. They accused me of fraud, and yet didn't even have the decency to make a phone call to me when I requested. Thatâ??s doing the right thing?
May have "grace," but no class.
