“Poor”
Northwest Savings Bank has become very difficult to work with on mortages/loans. Their processing time has slowed down and it now takes up to 60 days for them to close on a real estate loan. Another problem for the consumer/customer and real estate agents is the bank losing paperwork, buyers are asked to re-submit documents for a second time and in some cases a third time. The loan officer/managers are poor on communicating with all the parties involved with the loan. Over all I think the bank now take the "I don't care attitude". What I don't understand is that NWS is spending a lot of money on advertising to get new customers but yet they don't take care of the ones they all ready have and it is time for the customer to stop using this bank and look for a better one which there are many available.

“Nice Bank, Nice People”
Have been working with Northwest for many years. The local staff is very professional, and at the same time friendly and helpful. Over the years, I have moved all my accounts, personal and business into there system. I bank in person, on the phone, and on-line and have never had an issue they did not clear up straight away.

“Never had so many problems. Horrible”
Last weekend they updated their systems which threw out a glitch in everyone's checking accounts. It gave me $970, when I should have had $200. No problem, I messaged customer service online and just went from my transactions and pending transactions list to get my balance of $200. I went to the ATM to withdrawal $100 so I didn't have to use my card all day until they fixed glitch. Turns out, they weren't updating their transactions either. So I wound up being in the hole $67. Customer service said they were waiving overdraft charges because of their error. My paycheck hit and I was charged 8 overdraft fees of $31 apiece. With that I was in the hole over $300 and after my paycheck still negative $19, so probably more overdraft fees. I have been on the phone with customer service explaining, and they are trying to make it sound like they did nothing wrong. Probably trying to get some money back because other customers probably pulled out all their money during the glitch.

“Not a bank for people on the Go!”
With limited customer service hours and even more limited departmental hours, they are not a bank the makes it easy for you to get things done. I had difficulty just getting them to set-up automatic withdrawl on an auto loan account. Although I paid all late fees and paid fees to make over the phone payments, they reported late activity to the credit bureaus that is affecting my credit rating and my ability to get a preferred rate on my new home purchase. I am going to be paying for the next 30 years because they do not make it convenient to set-up automatic withdrawl.
