“PNC Mortgage Officer who is banned from securities industry for life”
I looked into a mortgage at PNC. Checked the background of a mortgage loan officer and found that he was censured, fined and banned by FINRA for life! FINRA is the agency that regulates the securities industry. There were several complaints filed against him and none were contested. He also has outstanding liens and judgments. This person now has access to all of the personal and financial information of his clients through his job at PNC. If anyone at PNC is interested in following up, leave a post and we can try to connect. Very scary.

“Personally, horrible, WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK!!”
Tomorrow night is our last business day! Thank you to to all of our locals and out of town friends and family. Everyone has our information, and can contact me whenever. Thanks to PNC, I will have some time on my hands. Once again realize, this bank, PNC, cares about NO ONE!!!
Let me tell everyone about PNC Bank! I took a 15 home mortgage with them in February of 2007, 6 years in, paid $50,000 in just principal payments last year, incredible customer, and only have about 2 years left! They foreclosed on the hotel, Lake Tarpon Resort, Palm Harbor, FL. that the restaurant that I own, for almost 3 years, is located in at the beginning of May 2013. After being an incredible customer of "PNC" both personally and in business, for no acknowledged reason (on PNC's part) they are evicting me and my family from our business, stating that they will pay back our First and Last deposit (They actually cashed our checks, then sent an eviction a week later!!) Do not do business with this bank!! They could care less about people and families! It kills me to have to continue to make mortgage payments on my house, but I can't move my mortgage now because PNC will have me unemployed in 2 weeks (now 1 week). They also have now blocked me on Facebook because they donâ??t want everyone to know the truth. Come on, PNC, step up and be honest as a National bank, you are kicking a good, profitable, hardworking business and family out, (with 100â??s of local followers) with no answer or reason??? Guys, suggestion, NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH PNC BANK OR PNC MORTGAGE COMPANY!!! They could care less about us as individuals, families, and people! To top it off, they blocked me from commenting on FB, and I am only expressing the public truth, NICE!!! Oh, PNC just tried to block my comments, claiming SPAM. Not SPAM PNC, just stating the truth and being honest!!!!

“Bad IRA Account Management”
Almost every year or two, I get a letter saying that my IRA account contact has been changed. This is not a good sign. I have not built any long term relationship with any PNC IRA personnel. Also, I feel like that my account is being pushed back and forth, and unmanaged. The only constant is the annual fee that PNC charges (for doing nothing). In short, do not sign up with PNC IRA Investment; go somewhere else.

“Banking at the Holt Road PNC”
Of all the PNC locations I have completed my banking needs at, The Holt Road location is the very best. the banking staff are cheerful, polite, and professional. What's more, they have personality, not some scripted robotic atmosphere that so many other banks seem to be offering. All of the PNC's I have seen so far have been great, however, the Holt Road location takes the crown.

“Wonderful”
The manager at this branch is very pleasant! My boyfriend and I went to set up a joint checking acct but had an appt and wanted to do it quickly. Dinka set up the acct very quickly and told us we could come back to go over the details. She also offered us the "preffered" account which has many great benefits. She was very kind, courteous and professional. Her customer service is to be admired!

“Horrible! Worst Ever”
My experience with pnc was horrible considering the fix was extremely easy; good managers make these decisions all the time; pnc is not usaa. I recieved correspondence from pnc stating account overdrawn and if account is not within balance within three days i will incur a seven dollar fee daily; until account balance; this was 13 days after they authorized an unauthorized overdraw transaction. I had opt'ed out of all overdrawn protection; never signed up for an overdrawn protection; this transaction should have been denied and never authorized. The bank manager stated pnc sometimes authorize overdrawn accounts; without customers consent. This horrible decision by pnc to overdraw my account and then charge me fees is horrible customer service(not usaa); customer rip off; customer shake down. All pnc systems showed that i selected the opt out option for overdraw protection: pnc simply overdebit my account without proper authorization. Mentioned earlier that managers make this decision all the time; once they realized the bank's mistake; seven dollars fees cleared; customer must reimburse for unauthorize debit and processing fee for insufficient funds. Branch manager management/customer skills was very poor; her vision was very shallow. She was lazy and a clock watcher; instead of listening to the customer, she was more concern with clocking out at 3. What bank closes at 3? Probably a mismanage bank with a low volume of customers and bad customer service. Lastly, i was told the manager had to call me instead of the customer calling the manager to make a significant complaint; still haven't recieved a call from the manager; i kind of figured that; just poor management. The branch i'm referring is ft meade branch; another institution trying to shake down soldiers; sad!

“Terrible Customer Service!”
Sold my boat and needed to deposit $15000 in my account. The bank tellers I encountered at Anderson Towne Center PNC were rude and lazy beyond belief. I realize it's difficult to find good employees, but these lazy people take the cake! PNC employees like these give the entire PNC family a black eye. I did speak to the manager, who was apologetic for the the poor customer service. I am just SO DISAPPOINTED!!

“I want my RBC back!”
I have a joint credit card with my elderly grandmother that we opened with RBC long ago. My grandparents were strong supporters of the original Peoples Bank before it became Centura, and supported Centura even after the merger with RBC. So with such a strong personal connection with their "hometown" bank, they helped me establish credit with a joint card. All was fine until my grandmother, whom I was caring for, had to be put into a nursing home. At that point I was jobless, with very limited income, and was unable to pay the full amount of my credit card. RBC understood, and the local banker even said that if I could pay what I could, he would do his best to look out for me. Then PNC comes in, assumes my account, immediately hiked my interest rate up from 9% to 18%. Now the minimum payment I was making, when I could even make it, wasn't touching the principle at all. The insane hike in my interest ended up pushing my account overlimit, even though I'd closed it and cut up the card so I could focus on paying it. So not only was I getting hammered by interest, I was being double-hammered by overlimit fees. PNC was completely unsympathetic. When I moved to a new location to find a better job, it took 5 phone calls just to get them to start sending me the statement to the proper address, and they never did manage to send me whatever password I needed to login to the online banking, so I could pay my bill online. So to be quite honest, I gave up and stopped paying them. My credit was already shot because of them, so I had nothing else to lose. This month though, I get a notification that if I paid a certain amount, they would forgive the rest of the debt. I jumped on it, paid that amount, and was told that the account would be settled. Today I get a statement showing the credit, but there's STILL an outstanding balance and no indication that the account is settled. My grandmother is recently deceased, so this could possibly snafu her final dispositions of her estate.

“Simply Wonderful”
Exceptionally friendly, convenient services, and unlike some banks they are set up to try to help you succeed instead of nickel and diming you to death with fees. Free transfers internally and externally (can we say VERY convenient). Have yet to experience any problems online, in the bank, or at the ATM.

“Totally unacceptable”
Deposited my payroll check via the ATM on Thursday, as always. The check is dated for the following day, and will not process prior to that day. I received a call at the end of the banking day from the branch manager, Clinton, stating that my check was being sent to a clearinghouse and would be returned to my employer, as it was 'postdated.' I inquired as to why this was suddenly a problem, and indicated that this was a payroll check. This caused me to have to have another payroll check cut-taking an additional 3 days of leg work, gas, etc.
The following day I noticed that the initial check had in fact been processed and deposited. I was told that this money was due to be removed from my account and should not be touched, as my employer would be receiving the returned check.
Long story short, both checks were processed, and my employer questions my integrity. wasted my gas, and caused a great deal of hardship. PNC has yet to resolve the issue, and is losing 2 customers over it.
