“Awful....”
The manger at this bank does not want to deal with any customer issues. How on earth they brought her in as a manger is beyond me. I have moved my commercial banking elsewhere. I do not recommend anyone banking here. I will say the tellers and the CSR's are very helpful and always pleasant to deal with. Too bad the manager can't be the same....

“Illegal BAnk Fees”
No matter how you spend your money you will be hit with some type of bank fee. Every representative you speak to will give you a different explanation on how it is your fault. I have taken screen shots from time of purchase up to the time I'm charged with bank fees and yet and still they have an excuse. The worssssssssssssssstttttttttt bank ever!!!!!
Working with a lawyer at this point. Please don't have your money stolen by TD BAnk

“Poor customer Service”
TD Bank emphasizes customer service/human service. This is not so at the Richmond Hill, Queens, NY branch. The bank it appears has a growing customer base but lacks customer service professionalism, friendliness and the human touch. I with more than 10 other customers walked into the bank on Saturday 18th around 1pm and had no idea of what we needed to do to speak with a customer service rep. There were four tellers to attend to a long line of banking customers. Three of the six agents were speaking with customers at their desks. No one attended nor instructed nor even acknowledged the presence of us who were hanging around waiting to speak with the agents. Finally, after 30 minutes of wait an agent called out " who is next" that would be me. I was told because of the nature of my transaction it could not be completed today. Other TD banks and other other commercial banks have agents who greet you and find out your banking needs and give you some idea of your wait time who will see you but Richmond Hill TD bank has no regard for customers and no human touch.

“Worst Bank I have ever dealt with”
I 've never seen such incompetent rude bank tellers. They disrespected me by false accusations and the manager saw nothing wrong with that. I closed business account, personal account and made sure all my family members did the same.

“Unfriendly and incompetent”
Just tried to call in to ask a question, used the "call-back" feature, but when it called me back it hung up on me, so I called again and waited 30 minutes, only to talk to a person who couldn't help so she sent me to another person who couldn't help who sent me to another person. On hold again and had to give up.
I'm amazed that they couldn't help, since my question was very simple: "I lost the username to my online account, but I have all the account info and all the answers to the security questions. Can you help me?"
The answer was even simpler: "No."

“I WAS GIVEN A COUNTERFEIT $20 BILL”
On Friday, May 10, 2013, I was a non-account holder coming to cash a check drawn on this bank. I went into the branch and presented my check an ID to the African-American female teller at the drive-thru. She informed me of the $5.00 charge and proceeded to her terminal. When she handed me my envelop, I placed it in my purse and left the building. When I got in my car, and opened the envelop to find a $20 bill that CLEARLY stood out. I pulled up to the drive-thru and asked for another bill because it looked "crazy". She returned with the manager and informed me that the bill was counterfeit and they couldn't give me my money. I went back into the branch and spoke with the manager, whom was very polite and professional. She offered me a $20 gift card, but would need to see my ID to register with the secret service. Well, that's when I got irate. If the incompetent teller processed my check properly, they already have that information. And while I am an educated African-American woman, only a fool would take a counterfeit bill to a bank. I believe I would have had better luck at a self-check out lane somewhere. I understood the manager's position but to know that this THIEF is taking advantage of customers, is unacceptable . Typically I count my money before leaving any counter, but prior to walking into thehb building, I found out my father -in-law was admitted in the hospital. So my mind was pre-occupied with how I would explain that to my children. I am not angry about the loss of $20, though it was my hard earned money, I just can't accept the fact that I got it from the bank. I will continue to write this same review until I am contacted by someone willing to apologize and to inform me that the teller was fired.

“Branch Manager was not concerned enough to resolve the issue I had with floor manager.”
I have been banking with TD for 36 years. Recently at the crowfoot branch I had to close my old a/c due to a compromise in the security. I than opened a new a/c. The next day I went in to deposit a check and was told it would be placed on hold as I was a new account holder. I tried to explain that I really was not and she should check, but the arrogant and lazy floor supervisor did not check the history of my a/c. On the following day I raised the issue with the branch manager, who came up with another lame answer that I should next time bring problems to him. How stupid! As if he is there 24/7 and everyone should bring all issues to him. Why the bank need any staff than. TD staff is trained extremely bad and does not care about the customer.
Please boycott TD.

“Do Not Use This Lending Bank, Ever!!! Crooks!!”
This lending bank is by far the worst bunch of crooks out there. Their customer service is horrendous and basically made up of bumbling idiots that pass the buck on their mistakes here there and everywhere until all that is left is to pass the mistake onto the customer in the financial form. Their online bill pay is archaic and doesn't work, so i resorted to pay by phone (a real pain) one month i transposed 2 #'s on the acct in payment, but, i got a confirmation that the transaction went through. It didn't i was charged all sorts of fees, this mistake wasn't caught for 4 months. When it was finally figured out what had happened, they said it was all my fault and they wouldn't remove any fees associated with this mess. In my mind it's their fault that their system is a dinosaur, that i rec. Confirmation the payment is set, then it takes them 4 months to figure out the real problem and they won't take any responsibility. They are rude, and arrogant. Do not use this bank.

“New Bill Pay is the worst!!!!”
The new bill pay is delivering checks 6 days late, if at all. You can't place a memo on the payments any more, causing payees to wonder what the check is for. Payments are being confused with principle payments because the lack of memo. Customer service keeps forwarding you to the online banking department only to be transferred BACK to the general customer service department because of the high call volume. Why "FIX" something that wasn't broke IN THE FIRST PLACE?! WAKE UP, TD Bank! I wish there were a negative rating option. Holy cow!!!

“Should be unlawful what they're doing!!”
I bought some furniture not long ago and this was the bank that offered the loan for 3 years interest free. I thought it was a great deal and I knew I would have the balance paid off in a quarter of that time. Like they say though if it seems to good to be true it probably is. When I went to make my first payment I noticed they only gave two option of a way to make payment which was to pay on line through their web link using on line checking or mail in check by mail. Since I already do on line checking through a credit union I figured it was best to have my bank send the payment. TD bank has called me every month sometimes before due date to ask if I've made a payment. They claim my bill is paid late every month so they charge me a $25 late fee. I asked if they had a grace period and they said they do not. I explained to them that it was odd that they didn't offer a grace period when ever other bill I have does. I offered to make a payment over the phone using my debit/ credit card and they said they couldn't do it over the phone but directed me back to their on line option. I've lost my patients with this bank and believe they're wrecking my credit and robbing me blind. What bank with todays technology doesn't take a payment over the phone? Domino's can take my payment faster for pizza!!!
