These clowns are either crooks, don't care or blithering idiots. They all look the same.

With very good credit and a long history with WF, I applied to refi 2 properties. After 2 months, with building contractors demanding money and eternal promises from WF, I found that the papers were still sitting, ignored on someone's desk (confirmed by the loan officer). They had charged me over $1500 in fees. That was late September.

I was told the fees would be refunded. I hounded them again today - over 3 months later - and the refund was processed yesterday - still $400 short of the amount.

RUN -DON'T WALK - FROM THESE CLOWNS/IDIOTS/CROOKS AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

Wells Fargo is a criminal institution

Wells Fargo Property Loss Department - I have followed all of the set up protocols from Wells Fargo and when I asked where my first check was... that is where the lies started. I spoke to a rep on 5/15 and they said it was overnighted (at my expense) back to me. After contacting my local post office, there was no record of any package in my name. I spoke to a rep on 5/16 and they again stated it was sent. After telling them the USPS had no record of the letter, she changed her story. I was transferred to a "specialist". I guess that is code word for mean and nasty employee. I was told they had not received the check for processing yet and it will be a few more days. I called again on 5/17 and they said it could be another 48 hours until the check is processed. What can be done about this? I am not able to live in my home and I cannot afford to make the repairs myself. Wells Fargo is holding MY money hostage and will not allow me to repair my home. All I want are the funds to repair my home. I would think it would be in the best interests of the mortgage company to expedite this process.

Worst customer service, and not very bright tellers

I deposited a check into my account, but the tell made a mistake when entering the information which caused my account and some of the accounts associated with it to be frozen. When I tried the rectify the situation they just kept giving me the runaround and would not admit to their mistake. It took a certified letter from another bank to prove that they were in error, and in the process they decided to close out my account and freeze all my funds until they got around to sending me the funds via a bank check. Needless to say I will not be doing business with this bank again.

Utterly exhausting

So we've been working on a USDA loan for about 2 months now. Yes I know that's a long process but the problem is Wells Fargo has been at the Underwriting process of said loan for the entire 2 MONTHS!!!! The only time anything get's done is when I contact them to say 'Hey, hows the process coming along? When's our close date?' To which I'm met with ,100% of the time mind you, Oh, well we need more documents... This has been the response for 2 LONG MONTHS! It's a disgrace. The first loan officer I dealt with hasn't responded to any of my attempts at communication for over a week so I resort to contacting the loan processor. She has been great but unfortunately cannot answer all of our questions... NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Especially when you have a child on the way and preferably want to have moved into your home by then. Really disgusted at the lack of communication, the time involved, the constant need to contact them to get anything done.

Don't refinance with Wells. 7 months to close. Ridiculous!!!

We have refinanced our mortgage twice before. Typically, 30 to 45 days. Seriously, this closing took 7 months. Wells made so many mistakes, they had to re-do nearly everything. They could even get name right on loan agreements. This was crazy, because I was an existing customer. Recommend going elsewhere.

not very good.

i am disabled emotionally but i have been making great strides towards active participation in society. today while banking i realized that i have a long way to go. the teller was very impersonal and kept me waiting for quite some time to cash a simple check for me. seventeen years never a problem until today. for the first time in m,any years i had enough money in my savings to cover it, which certainly added to my humiliation.. i am now in emotional relapse of which writing this complaint is making me feel humanized.. people should just be nice, i felt like a common criminal instead of a mother a sister a daughter a friend and an employee. thumbs down wells fargo

Will close my accounts and bank with a real bank!

HORRID!!!

So we've had an account with Wells Fargo for about 2 years now. I have never had a good experience. Customer service is the worst, and they have that sign in every one about their "motto" which feels like they are mocking you. For two years I have gone into different branches and asked them to cash my paycheck and then deposit the cash for me. Never a problem. I try and new branch, the woman teller tells me she can give me cash but then I have to go outside to the ATM to deposit it..... wait... what?? I kept trying to get her to make sense and to understand why she was making no sense. Called the manager and the manager said the same thing.... still no sense was made. So what I did is I cashed my check then went to the end of the line and deposited my cash... completely unacceptable. and the kicker, I got the same teller again and she just deposited my cash without a second glance....we are currently shopping around for a new bank. Oh, and the spending limit is $1000 on your bank card PER DAY and $310 atm withdrawal a day.... real pain when you're trying to put a downpayment on a car.

NIGHTMARE

This bank consistently fails on customer service every single time we have the occasion to interact there. Today my 16 year old who has both savings and checking accounts was unable to cash her check and told to bring her Mother in.......really? She has a summer job and has her check direct deposited. Not a very good way to build a customer relationship. I recently assisted another child with opening an account at PNC, what a pleasant experience and fabulous customer service relationship they are building. Shame on you Wells Fargo.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I am so happy (really sad) that everyone else on this site has had the same bad situation as me with Wells Fargo. I used my debit card recently on a new shopping website. Without contacting me, they declined the card because it was "an unusual website." I called customer service and they unblocked the site and told me my purchase would go through. Low and behold the next day I had another message that my card was blocked again on the same website. I contacted customer service and the woman said she could unblock that website for the future. I asked her if every time I shopped at a new site I would have to call the bank first to "unblock" it. She couldn't answer my question; just kept saying "I'm here to help" without doing anything. Finally put her supervisor on the phone. Rudest person I have ever dealt with. Sarcastic, condescending, kept talking over me. I was reminded of that computer that talks on the banking commercials for TD Bank. His replies to my concerns sounded like he was reading from the "How to diffuse an irate customer" handbook. He stated that the bank's policy was to decline the debit card, basically whenever they feel like it. I asked him how he would feel it he tried twice to order something and was declined when he had thousands of dollars in the bank, making me look like some sort of deadbeat. He said he "couldn't comment on that". The upshot was that I told him I would be taking all of my money out of his bank. He didn't seem to care one way or the other; and just ended the call with some trite statement like, "I regret we could not resolve your problem". Computer jargon again! You didn't resolve my problem because you never even tried!
