“Wow! What a great bank!”
I have been doing business with 5/3 for about 15 years, and have no complaints. Have had excellent customer service. I make it a point not to overdraft. I have two checking accounts, two credit cards and a small savings account with 5/3. My main savings account is with a credit union. Most of my banking is online and I rarely write more than three of four checks a month. The savings account is only for small emergencies. Balances on credit cards are paid twice a month. My opinion 5/3 is a bank that I am comfortable doing business with.

Fifth-Third-Bank is good for me,cause it is in my area where I live :) I did not have any problems with this bank,so I could say it's good bank and you can trust it.

“Ridiculous policies”
This is a horrible bank that is riddled with fees and policies that benefit the BANK, and not the customer. Overdraft fees $37. Daily overdraft fees, for a negative balance, $6 per day. They post the biggest to smallest checks, so if there is a problem, they can collect on as many items as possible. If you CLOSE your account, they will REOPEN it, to tack on more fees! FEES FEES FEES FEES FEES FEES. These people must stay up nights, trying to figure out a new fee, if you make a wrong turn. They'll let you overdraft yourself at an atm, or on your debit card (as a COURTESY, as they so call it), and then charge you a million fees. SO, unless you plan on NEVER making a mistake, EVER, I surely wouldn't bank with FIfth Third! Go to a local credit union! They are MUCH MORE fair, and look out for their customers, unlike Fifth Third Bank. BEWARE!
