“Simply Awful”
My wife and I purchased a condo in Wisconsin and the mortgage was "sold" to SunTrust. Due to job loss we had to move back to our home state and tried short selling the home. We HAD an offer AND the third party appraiser even said the offer was in line with the value of the property. The offer was sent to SunTrust on May 1st, 2009 and no decision had been made by mid-September 2009 which caused our buyer to walk. Now the property will face forclosure because word has gotten out that SunTrust is the bank and no one wants to buy it. Thank you very much SunTrust for taking what could have been a simple transition, to more bureaucratic red tape and for ruining my family's finances.
