The fine print
This offer is available for all personal Chase checking accounts except:
- High School
- Online Checking
The Chase checking accounts that are eligible for the $150 offer have monthly service fees that start at $10 to $15. Monthly service fees vary by market and, except for Chase Essential Checking, you can find ways to avoid these fees.
The offer is not available to existing Chase checking customers or those who have closed an account within 90 days. The initial $100 deposit into the account must be new money not held by Chase or its affiliates.
You will only be allowed to receive one checking account-related bonus per calendar year, and the offer cannot be combined with other offers.
The bonus will not be considered as part of the $100 minimum opening balance.
The bonus will be debited from your checking account if the account is closed within 6 months. Furthermore there will be an account closing fee of $25 if you close the account within 90 days of opening.
If you do not have the Chase coupon at the time of account opening, you must supply the coupon code within 7 days.
