Independence Day Bank Hours 2012

Fire up the grill and the sparklers: Fourth of July is upon us! And while you prepare to man the grill, and make merry tomorrow, be sure to get your banking done. You won’t have a shot tomorrow. Well, unless you bank with Canadians.

Of all the major banks in the United States, just one will be open tomorrow: TD Bank. Our friends from Canada, which never formally declared independence from the British Crown, will keep its branches open tomorrow. Everyone else will have the day off. As you baste your ribs tomorrow, and drink a domestic light beer, think of those poor American TD Bank employees who are stuck at work. Light a sparkler for them, maybe.

    I take some good natured ribbing because TD Bank is open on holidays. But, as I tell them…..you can’t claim to be America’s most Convenient Bank unless you are……..I happen to be off tomorrow, but those who work will leave the store in PLENTY of time to celebrate the 4th as it should be. And, I’d be willing to bet that many of our customers will be calling the store to ask if we are going to be open……and will react in shock when we answer “yes”……
