KeyBank is holding a limited-time promotion that awards a $150 cash bonus to new customers who open a KeyBank checking account by Sept. 28, 2012 and meet certain requirements.
The deal
New customers must open a Key Express, Key Coverage, Key Advantage, Key Privilege or Key Privilege Select checking account using offer code ONFT0912 by Sept. 28, 2012.
Then, new customers must complete two tasks within the first three months of account opening:
- make at least 30 payments and/or purchases
- make 3 direct deposits of at least $500 each
This offer is only available to customers who open their accounts online.
The accounts
Key Express Checking has a $5 monthly fee than can be avoided with a monthly direct deposit of at least $500 or 7 customer-initiated transactions per month.
Key Coverage Checking has a flat $12 monthly fee.
Key Advantage Checking has a $15 monthly fee that can be avoided with a combined $10,000 balance in KeyBank accounts.
Key Privilege and Key Privilege Select have a monthly fee of $25 that can be avoided with combined balances of $25,000 and $100,000, respectively.
